Yes You Can Preserving Food
All about Berries, Jams and Jellies June 26th 2-4pm and 6;40-8:30pm
Ever had a jam end up being a syrup instead? Wonder what else you can do with berries? Learn how to select berries in the field or at markets. Participate in discussions on how to freeze, preserve and dry safely. Discussions will include making traditional and low-to-no sugar jams and jellies, dried berries and berry powders.
Classes will be taught by Sandy Brown, retired WSU Extension Food Safety Emeritus faculty. She has 35 years experience in preserving food safely and helping others do the same. Join her for some informative discussions on how to preserve food easily and safely.
