Want to get started canning but dont know where to start? Learn about the different methods of preserving foods and which foods use which method. See the equipment needed to preserve safely and learn the basics of how to get started. Go home with resources that will help you find safe procedures and recipes for your summer canning.
Classes will be taught by Sandy Brown, retired WSU Extension Food Safety Emeritus faculty. She has 35 years experience in preserving food safely and helping others do the same. Join her for some informative discussions on how to preserve food easily and safely.
