RJD presents "What's the Upshot?" choreographed by Risa Jaroslow in collaboration with the dancers: Sophie Stanley, Jordan Stout, Patrick Barnes and Risa Jaroslow. In "What's the Upshot?" the dancers experiment with how we make decisions that bring us to the point of change.
"Risa Jaroslow's (work) is all about relationship. Not the romantic kind, but that kinetic, flesh-to-flesh thing that happens between dancers moving." -Dance Magazine Blog
Peiling Kao presents a new work called "Ludic Numerologies", which explores the secret of numbers that manipulate and systematize the choreographic process.
Friday and Sunday performances will be shared with Peiling Kao. The Saturday performance of "What's the Upshot?" will be followed by a breakdown of several sections of the piece to reveal how they were created.
