From wild ancient tribal percussive vocal and instrumental rhythmic layering, to tender heart-rending melodies and rich harmonies, Obiba combines repetitive looping motifs, ala Steve Reich, with complex time signature changes, East Indian classical music and meditative trances with splashes of jazz and rock.
