Larry Kaplan and Alan Reid at Acoustic Music Centre / AMC @ UCC
Alan Reid, one of the most influential Scottish folk artists of his generation, and founding member of the Battlefield Band, joins Smithsonian Folkways recording artist Larry Kaplan for a special evening of traditional and contemporary music. One of America's best contemporary folk song writers, Kaplan's compositions are considered "stunningly painted portraits of life." (Roots Music, Austin, USA). Winner of the 2009 Scots Traditional Music Award and Scottish Traditional Music Hall of fame inductee, Reid is considered "a master storyteller" (Hylton Performing Arts Center, USA). Together they weave a wonderful evening of song todelight and inspire.
