As part of Berkshire Bike Month (and general spring trail cleaning), come help with some trail cleanup and bridge repair at Pittsfield State Forest!
There will be two options to help out:
a) Help clear debris and re-support the long wooden bridge on Fox Trot (originally built as a NEMBA project years ago... it's held strong for a long time, but high waters and misguided flooding washed it out this past year and it needs a lil face lift!)
b) Raking and clearing general early spring debris from the surrounding family trails. (many of our amazing volunteers have been out there clearing larger trees and blowdowns, but there are still a lot of debris, leaves, and pine cones, which can make the trails harder to follow and a little less smooth sailing)
