To New Drowsy: A Ferry Tale
To New Drowsy: A Ferry Tale: In a New York City of the future, a ferry worker, a family of snack-obsessed rats, a teenage cyborg, and a protest artist named Tr@sh Smith work together (and sometimes against each other) to survive a series of floods, all the while trying resist the gentrification of the city by the mysterious Big Tech Big Bros company. Full of humor and heart, the play tells a story of solidarity and hope in the face of climate catastrophe.
This original piece was written by Harbor School students, staged in collaboration with professional theater artists of Superhero Clubhouse as part of the Big Green Theater program.
