Montana of 300, a Chicago-based rapper, made a meteoric rise from obscurity to fame with his distinctive style, deeply rooted in the South Chicago drill music scene. Starting his career in 2008 with the group 300inspired by the film "300"he first gained attention with aggressive bootleg remixes and gritty tracks that echoed the group's name. Although the group disbanded in 2014, Montana's solo career soared in 2015 with his standout track "Air Jordan" and his clever remixes of hits like "White Iverson," "Chiraq," and "Trap Queen." His talent caught the attention of major industry figures, leading to collaborations at top artists' homes, which he showcased through widely talked-about social media posts. This exposure sparked a major-label bidding war, culminating in the release of his street album "Gunz n Roses" at the end of 2015. Montana's official debut album, "Fire in the Church," was released in 2016, featuring a roster of notable guests and marked the beginning of his tradition of yearly album releases on May 20tha date he considers lucky.
