The Washington Wind Symphony presents "soUSA"
Join the Washington Wind Symphony as music director Jacob Scherr leads the band at Robertson Performing Arts Center in a special salute to America's March King, John Philip Sousa. Besides hearing some of Sousas most beloved marches, youll be treated to a wide variety of other American music, including the world premiere of "Four Cinematic Scenes" -- a brand-new work composed by Ray Heraty, a member of our trumpet section. You won't hear this music anywhere else, so don't miss it!
Band bio The Washington Wind Symphony comprises 45-50 dedicated musicians who gather once a week for the pure enjoyment of the preservation of classic wind band literature. Performing a four-concert season at Redmonds intimate Robertson Performing Arts Center, the musicians have achieved a following of loyal listeners on the Eastside of Seattle.
