From Mad Men to Game of Thrones: Writing the TV Drama
Online
Los Angeles, CA
Share this event:

Have you ever wanted to write on a show like "Mad Men", "Game of Thrones", or "Boardwalk Empire"? The hour-long drama is a formidable task for even the most seasoned scribe. Fortunately, we've recruited TV writer Jason
Grote ("Mad Men", "Hannibal") to help us navigate the murky waters of procedurals and soaps. He'll teach you how to incorporate the essential beats into your own one hour pilot. Jason will help you unearth a lively cast of characters, an irresistible franchise, and meaningful theme. By the end of the class, you'll walk away with a pitchable idea and a treasure trove of TV drama writing tools. Dragon not included.
