About Jason Grote: Jason Grote's television writing credits include "Mad Men," "Hannibal," and "Smash." As a playwright, his work has been produced and developed at Lincoln Center, Sundance, The O'Neill, Playwrights' Horizons, Woolly Mammoth, New York Theater Workshop, Soho Rep, Clubbed Thumb, The Denver Center, Center Theatre Group, BAM, UCLA's Center for Art and Performance, Portland Center Stage, The Civilians, Baltimore Centerstage, PS122, Salvage Vanguard, and elsewhere. He is an alumnus of New Dramatists, was the 2006 P73 Playwriting Fellow, and wrote the script for David Levine's OBIE-winning HABIT. His plays are published by Samuel French. Other honors include a WGA Award Nomination and the 2014 ACT New Play Award. He has taught writing at Rutgers, Carnegie Mellon, The National Theater Institute, LAByrinth Theater Company, The New School, The University of Wisconsin, Queens College/CUNY, Hollins University, Whitman College, The University of Rochester, and elsewhere.
