[RESCHEDULED DATE] An Afternoon With Dog On A Swing @ Silvan House
[ADVANCE TICKETS ONLY- no door entry!]
I'm going to play a bunch of songs at Hame-ish's new space on the first floor of Silvan House. It's not a regular gig venue because visitors have to be let in and then sign-in/sign-out, hence advance tickets only. It's free/donation!
My current plan is to play three short sets (30ish minutes each) with breaks in between. I have plenty of new songs to share but one set will be older songs if you have any particular requests!
If this goes well, it might become a monthlyish thing...
DETAILS
- Attendees will be sent a contact number in advance to message/call when they arrive at Silvan so they can be admitted at the front entrance.
- Each visitor must sign-in and sign-out at the desk (there is a door to let yourself out- please make sure it's shut when you leave).
- Our space is on the first floor up two flights of stairs (the lifts are not in operation).
- We have a number of heaters in our space but the building itself is NOT heated. Unless it's really warm outside, we would advise wearing an extra layer or two (we also have a few blankets).
- There is ample seating with a hot water urn and coffee/tea supplies!
TRANSPORT
- It's nearly across the road from Edinburgh Zoo so the 12, 26, and 31 buses will all drop you off nearby. Conveniently, all three of these services ALSO stop outside Haymarket station if you're coming by train!
- If you're driving, there are plenty of car park spaces available in front or behind the building (but please come to the front entrance if you're parked in the latter area)
