NINAS HOME
Director: Richard Dembo 106 min.
Nina is the director of a shelter for orphaned Jewish children after WWII. Post liberation of the camps, surviving Eastern European children arrive. Unlike the French children who had been hidden, the survivors of the camps are sorely scarred. Separated by culture, customs, language and experiences, they encounter painful adjustments. With Ninas devotion, they ultimately unite in the bond of faith and the courage to hope and live again. Introduction by Rachel Miller, French Holocaust Child Survivor.
