The ups and downs (and laughs) of having an incorrigibly, incurably romantic view of life, in spite of all the evidence.
ABOUT MARK RABE
Guilty of perpetrating thirty-plus years of Seattle theatre, Mark's music-directing credits include: "110 in the Shade" for Reboot Theatre & Seattle Public Theatre; "Wizard of Oz", "Goodnight Moon", and many others for Seattle Children's Theatre; twenty-some shows for Showtunes Theatre Company (including "Falsettos", "Nine", and "Singin' In The Rain" in concert in Nordstrom Recital Hall at Benaroya); "Oh, Coward!" - Seattle Repertory Theatre; "Goblin Market" - ACT Theatre; and lots-&-lotsa cabarets at the late lamented Thumpers, including his solo show "Dragons & Princes & Castles, Oh My!"
SEATTLE CABARET FESTIVAL PRESENTS: JEANNETTE d'ARMAND & GREG FULTON in "UNCHARTED"
Come join vocalist/guitarist duo Jeannette d'Armand and Greg Fulton as they weave their way through material rich in reflections of life, transitions, unknowns, and the myriad ways it means to be human. Composers range from Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan to Harriet Wheeler and The Wailin Jennys.
ABOUT JEANNETTE d'ARMAND and GREG FULTON
Velvety mezzo soprano Jeannette d'Armand is well known for her cabaret performances, shows at the 5th Avenue, her time as a soloist with Cirque du Soleil and as a voice instructor at Cornish College of the Arts as well as an active private voice teacher. She also coaches women nationwide on how to use their voices to empower themselves in the workplace. Greg Fulton is a Seattle-based musician playing guitar, mandolin, banjo and organ. He teaches guitar at SPU and Instrumental Music Ensemble at the Seattle Waldorf School. He is a long-time member of the band Carrie Clark and the Lonesome Lovers and the Jazz Police Big Band.
