The Breeze & Victoria Hume EDINBURGH
Lush country rock from Ireland's The Breeze, in support of their acclaimed debut album 'Thin Ground.
The Breeze are a three-piece band from the north of Ireland, combining the various talents of long-time collaborators Chris Coll (Lost In The Fog), Decky McManus (The Basement) and Stevie Scullion of Malojian - whose collaboration with Grandaddys Jason Lytle (2020s Humm) is one of our favorite releases of the last few years.
The band are touring Ireland and the UK in support of the release of their debut album Thin Ground - out 29th March 2024 on Style Records.
The sound of The Beach Boys & Tom Waits headinging off on holiday together. Mesmerising - The Ulster Herald
Support comes from Victoria Hume, whos Radical Abundance album came out on Lost Map earlier this year. An expansive work blending fragile folk pop with thoughtful social commentary - inspired by the concept of degrowth as a way to stave late-stage capitalisms hold on the world.
Brighton-born but now based in Edinburgh, Victoria is carving a niche very much her own in the Scottish music scene, creating atmospheric folk that feels urgent and necessary for these times.
