Flowers in the Wardrobe
"Flowers in the Wardrobe" tells the comically twisted tale of four children forced to live in an attic by their selfish mother. Left to their own devices, they seek comfort in cookie binges, dirty dancing, and loving each other in all the wrong ways. Everything changes when a magical wardrobe offers the children a chance for adventure and escape, thrusting them into a land of talking beavers, a seemingly trustworthy faun, and a witch bearing Turkish Delights.
"Flowers" is directed by Steven Eubank ("Carrie: The Musical", "Rocky Horror Picture Show", "Hedwig and the Angry Inch") and features Stefanie Stevens ("Damn Yankees", "Godspell", "Film Classics Presents: Heaven So Far", and "Film Classics Presents: Suspicion"), Matt Sweeten ("The Importance of Being Earnest","Romeo and Juliet"), Alisa Lynn ("Picnic", "Big Love"), and J. Will Fritz ("As You Like It", "Our Author Died Today") as the children. The rest of the cast includes Amy Kelly ("M. Butterfly", "Bed Time Solos"), Genewa Stanwyck ("Film Classics Presents: Heaven So Far", "Film Classics Presents: Suspicion"), Andy Perkins ("How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying", "As You Like It"), Pete Bakely ("Drums in the Night", "An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein"), Diane Bulan ("Go, Dog. Go!", "The Sugar Bean Sisters"), and Philip blue owl Hooser ("Death in the Dustbowl", "Dead Air").
The design team includes Tabatha Terry-Treml (Costume Design), Regina Weller (Prop Design), Laura Burkhart (Set Design), Alex Perry (Light Design), and Joseph Concha (Sound Design). Stage management is provided by Ashley Pike.
