Audubon EcoDiscoverers Day Camp (Grades 5-7)
Join Audubon Educators and fascinating guest scientists for a week of ecological exploration in nature's own laboratory! Campers will be introduced to careful observation, ecological concepts, and scientific research through hands-on exploration. Become an environmental steward through science and have fun too! Each week will feature different themes and special guest scientists.
Dates: June 30-July 3 ** AquaLab Sample stream water, organisms, and experiment with water.
July 7 - July 11 BioBlitz It's all about biodiversity! Search our many habitats and find the ones with the most life.
July 14 - July 18 Nature Photography Hike while learning to compose pictures and work with natural lighting. Campers are responsible for providing their own camera.
July 21 - July 25 Child Versus Wild A week of outdoor skill building and fun.
July 28 - Aug 1 WOW! Wonders of Water Campers will be exploring and playing with water in this physically engaging, problem solving, and laugh out-loud wet adventure.
Aug 4 - Aug 8 Ecosystem Explorers The Bent of the River has as a wealth of wonderful habitats to explore Aug 11 - Aug 15 Nature Photography II Explore even more with your camera! While designed for expand upon previous Nature Photography camps, we'll all help first timers learn about the wonderful world of nature photography. Campers are responsible for providing their own camera.
** Week of July 5th: No day camp on Friday, July 4, $225 members and $260 non-members
