More About the Omega Sci-Fi Project:
The Omega Sci-Fi Project is produced by Light Bringer Project, a nonprofit arts and education organization serving Pasadena and Los Angeles. The Project seeks to empower emerging young writers from Los Angeles County high schools to contribute their unique voices and diverse perspectives to the art of science fiction story writing while tapping into the power of science fiction to examine the greatest challenges and moral dilemmas humanity faces. The heart of this program is a season of free classroom creative Sci-Fi writing workshops culminating in a spring reading featuring our top story submissions!

About the Carroll's Historic Home:
Literature for Life contributing author, Mary Lea Carroll and her husband, Bill, live in a 100-year-old Dutch Colonial in the Historic Highlands neighborhood of Pasadena. The home was built in 1890 by David J. MacPherson, the civil engineer whose greatest achievement was the famous Mt. Lowe Scenic Railway.
