There are no coincidences . . . only connections. A remarkable chain of over 30 follow-signs lead award-winning (but jaded) comedy writer Amy Engelhardt to Scotland. What begins as a bucket-list trip evolves into a personal and global exploration of grace, kindness and simplicity. With some Satanic nuns thrown in, for good measure.
AMY ENGELHARDT scored Off-Broadway Best New Musical nominee Bastard Jones at the cell theatre (Resident Artist), Annie Dream Will Do (Prospect Theatre Musical Writers Lab), Triptych (NY Transit Museum commission) and A Comedy of Eras (Flying Karamazov Brothers). From 1998-2012, Amy was the sole female writer/performer in Grammy-nominated, genre-busting band The Bobs. IMPACT won Best Score at the National Womens Theatre Festival and played the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in summer 2023. Amy still swears that her second solo album, FINISH WHAT YOU will be released in 2020. www.amyengelhardt.com KIRA SIMRING Artistic Director of Nancy Manocherians the cell theatre in New York since its inception in 2006.
