Children's Nature Mandalas Workshop at Bloedel Reserve: Ages 6 to 8
Create a work of art from natural materials gathered at the Bloedel. We will spend some time exploring the reserve, gathering materials such as rocks, sticks, leaves, and grasses. Then, using the ground as our canvas, we will create our Mandalas based on the principles of pattern and symmetry. Each student's finished work will be photographed and emailed home. The Mandalas will remain at the Bloedel where they will be enjoyed and admired by other visitors. Please bring a basket from home to use for gathering materials.
