Tim Rice with Ellen Tipper and Ed DesJardins
A Maine native, Tim Rice has been playing and writing songs for over 40 years. His eloquent heartfelt lyrics combined with his unique vocals and guitar work have pleased audiences wherever he has played. A studio musician In Los Angeles, Tim now resides in Scarborough Maine, splitting time between New York and Atlanta and points in between, where he continues to do what makes him happiest, playing his songs for fans old and new.
Delivered with engaging, powerful vocal intimacy and hailed as "immediate and timeless," Ellen Tipper's songs are "short and sweet musical experiences, each one possessing its own signature groove." Ellen's two album releases, in 2007 and 2010, along with several new unreleased singles have earned her two Honorable Mentions at the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival Songwriting Contest (2010 and 2013) and a finalist spot at the Kerrville New Folks Songwriting Contest in 2010.
Ed DesJardins works as a multi-instrumentalist, music producer and recording engineer from his home studio in Readfield. In addition, he promotes concerts which feature world-class artists such as Duke Robillard, David Sancious and Jeff Pevar. Born into a musical family, his writing style is informed by diverse musical influences and his songs have been described as honest, poignant and thought-provoking. DesJardins released his first full-length solo album "Innerspace" in 2010, and continues to write and perform his music to an ever-growing and appreciative audience.
