PORT OUT STARBOARD HOME is a new collaboration between foolsFURY, and red-hot NYC playwright Sheila Callaghan*. Port Out, Starboard Home is a theatrical spectacle set on a luxury cruise liner, where a mysterious and disturbing ritual occurs. The play digs into rich themes including: the fine line between luxury and decadence in contemporary American consumer culture, the relationship between public persona and private self that must be navigated in both the rarified space of the cruise vacation and in our daily lives, how we deal with others when thrown into temporary community with them.
