PlanetRAWK is an American indie hip-hop alternative rock band based out of Atlanta, Georgia. The band was started by alternative indie artist, Charlie Ahanotu. In 2010 Charlie began working on solo material, which is described as "Alternative Dirty South Rock Fusion". He incorporated the use of futuristic synth and modern rock to create an aggressive blend of alternative hip hop.
2011 saw Charlie's vision evolve into something of massive proportion. PlanetRAWK would do a series of shows in Atlanta and tour the U.S. several times. PlanetRAWK would also release 2 mixtapes, an ep and single being named #2 Top 10 Break-Out Artist of 2011 by Indie Music Reviewer. During this time, the solo artist would befriend and work with the 3 people who would soon become members of PlanetRAWK.
Their debut EP Kids With Black Face is a potent blend of alternative rock, hip hop, electronics and metal. Speaking a story of rejection, acceptance, race and fear of fame; these lyrics contain substance, depth with a heavy rock sound and catchy choruses. A true and proven voice of indie rock, Springfield Massachusetts's power-trio Prüf (pronounced proof) formed in 2008 with a specific ethos in mind to stay true to themselves and create music that comes from the heart, soul, and gut of three musicians tired of following the pipers call.
"We consider ourselves an alternative to alternative rock" says guitarist/vocalist Paul Able of the bands writing and performance. " so many bands out there call themselves alt. rock, but in actuality are following the same formula of so many groups before them. We pride ourselves on diversity in our writing so that every track has its own signature feel to it."
A "Live" act before all else, in its short existence Prüf has already had the privilege of playing with some on New England's best acts to include Bobbie Peru, The Uncomfortables, The Prozacs, Dennis Most, The Dance Cancer, Take One Car, Watcher, Hot Black, Planetoid, Born of Thunder, Beware, The Other Head of Science, Heroes for Hire, Evil Bill, The Excuses, and many other performers on stages of all sizes.

Leap The Dips is John Prusinski (guitar/vocals), Scott Marks (bass/vocals), and Dave Serafini (drums). They play all original music in a style what category is it? Indie rock? Alternative? Not-Too-Twee? Leap The Dips eschews petty categories, weak attempts to put them in a box, labeled and shelved like a cheap commodity!
