Theater announces a summer evening of two solo comedies: Mary Purdy's one-woman show Judy Blume Owes Me- When boobs are the center of your universe, and Keith Hitchcock's solo piece Curtains For Mr. Mortimer: One Man's Quest for the Grand Finale. The comedic duo The Yomenians will also make a special appearance.
In Judy Blume Owes Me- When boobs are the center of your universe, comic Mary Purdy takes audiences on a blast back to the days when big hair, big shoulder pads and big breasts were beauty standards du jour, and adolescent girls found solace in the bible of pre-teen angst, Are You There, God? It's Me, Margaret. Funny, poignant and personal, Judy Blume Owes Me will be directed at By Patricia Buckley and Keith Hitchcock. It was produced in both LA and NYC and featured in of comedy festivals around the country.
