You are invited for FACES' Biennial gathering in-person, celebrating 24 years of FACES fighting for environmental justice. On Saturday, January 27 we will gather with our partners from the Philippines to the Bay to launch FACES' new #ProtectVIP: Protect the Verde Island Passage campaign! Please join us for kwento and calls to action in support of communities in the Philippines fighting to stop fossil fuel development, and working to protect local livelihoods and marine ecosystems.

With food, ritual celebrating the new season, and updates from our partners including Gerry Arances from CEED Philippines - Center for Ecology, Energy, and Development, for a discussion on the latest about the national campaign to stop gas development and protect the Verde Island Passage in the Philippines.
Then on Sunday, January 28, 2024 we will visit the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco to view the Philippine coral reef exhibit and engage in casual conversations with our partners.
*Your donation will not include tickets and admission for the California Academy of Sciences. FACES will confirm group pricing to those who RSVP for our January 28 visit. Donations can be made through Brown Paper Tickets with a small processing fee.
