Course Description:
This session will explore an understanding of gauged porcelain tile and the installation standards as well as the benefit of referencing them in specifications. Attendees will also learn why it is important to follow the tile and setting material manufacturers recommendations. Participants will learn the importance of making sure the type of installation is approved for its intended use and rating for floors, walls, interiors, exteriors, and service. Lastly there will be a discussion on why you might consider Gauged Porcelain Tile for your project in areas you have not used tile in the past as well as understanding the effect of environmental conditions both during and after the installation.
