Tuesday's With Morrie-Benefit Performance for the ALS Association Evergreen Chapter
Tuesdays with Morrie, is co-adapted by Mitch Albom from his New York Times best-selling 1997 memoir. The story chronicles 14 Tuesdays spent getting reacquainted with his beloved sociology professor Morrie Schwartz, who was succumbing to Lou Gehrig's disease, a neurological illness that steadily leaves "a man frozen inside his own flesh". Tony Ventrella plays the lovable, quirky professor who chooses to go graciously into the night. Audience members age 12 and up will enjoy the humor and sometimes gritty, honest dialog.
