Meet your farmers and get a glimpse of what life is like on the farm in Spring - This is where your food starts! Come explore, plant, learn, and celebrate!
Tickets are $5.00 in advance and $7.00 at the gate
We have lots of opportunities and activities to learn about gardening, worms, chicks, bunnies and bees. This year we'll have more activities for the big kids too!
This year we're trying some thing new! A mini farmers market! Oxbow vegetable starts for purchase at the Oxbow Farm Stand, Anchorhead Coffee, Harbor Herbalist Tea, Ayako Family Jams, Olykraut, SnoValley Mushrooms are all joining us to sample and sell their good.
Future Farmers of America Baby calves, lambs, chicks and bunnies! Stop by to pet these cute spring babies and learn from our future farmers!
Chef and Father Come see and maybe even stump Chef Greg Johnson in our annual Cooking Throwdown. This year we'll see if the kids can stump him with spring veggies from the farm. Will he still create delicious food?
Heidi Bohan - ethno-botanist, educator and author We are so lucky to have Heidi return once again. This year she will only be conducting one forage tour at 10:30am so please plan accordingly! Explore and forage for exciting native wild edibles with Heidi Bohan!
Camp Korey Our friends will be bringing their fun seed match activity, farm "web" and a simple butter-making activity!
Oxbow Native Plant Nursery Learn all about native plants, help transplant some young plants for a restoration project or maybe just pick up a few to take home during their Native Plant sale. We'll also have King County noxious plants and Stewardship Partners Sal the Salmon on hand!
And don't forget about making flower crowns, farm art and our annual May Pole celebration
Food Trucks and Food Options: 314 Pie ~ savory and sweet hand pies including vegetarian options Future Farmers of America ~ beverages and home baked goods ...more to come!
Plus! You'll be able to help us sow seeds in the children's farm for the fall festival, and most of all, have lots of fun on the farm!
Please dress for the weather, and while we love dogs, and dogs love farms, please leave yours at home.
