"¡A Ver, Un Aplauso!", drama satírico del dramaturgo peruano Cesar de María, cuenta la historia dos payasos callejeros; Tripaloca, un payaso parlanchín a punto de morir y Tartaloro, su incondicional amigo quien con su ingeniosa idea de escribir un libro le ayudará a vencer a la muerte que llegó para llevárselo. "¡A Ver, Un Aplauso!" es una crítica a la opresión en una sociedad donde los segmentos socio-económicos determinan quien es el opresor y quien es el oprimido. Es una lucha contra el tiempo y un desesperado grito de necesidad por ser escuchado.

"¡A Ver, Un Aplauso!" is a satirical drama written by Peruvian dramaturge César de María that tells the story of two eccentric street clowns; Tripaloca, a vulgar clown on the verge of death by Tuberculosis and Tartaloro, his unconditional friend who comes up with the ingenious idea of writing a book to save him from the hands of death that have arrived to take him away. "¡A Ver, Un Aplauso!" is a theatrical critique on oppression in a society where socioeconomic sectors predetermine who is the oppressor and who is the oppressed. This is a race against time and a last desperate cry to be heard.
