Las Cruces UkeFest 2024
Las Cruces UkeFest 2024 continues the tradition of a fun weekend of ukulele instruction, performance, and fellowship in beautiful southern New Mexico. Your hosts are members of the Las Cruces Ukes, a nonprofit community group of ukulele enthusiasts who want to share their love of the four-stringed instrument.
This year, take workshops with two returning instructors and two new to Las Cruces UkeFest. We welcome Daniel Ward and Danielle Ate the Sandwich back to our event and bring Steven Espaniola and Neal Chin here for the first time. This talented group of instructors will perform in the Friday night concert (for which tickets are available separately), teach workshops on Saturday and Sunday, and be part of our jam session on Saturday night.
Las Cruces UkeFest also includes two open mic opportunities and a marketplace, all being held at a new venue: New Mexico State University's beautiful Corbett Center with large rooms and plenty of space for all our activities. This year, the concert returns to the NMSU Atkinson Recital Hall, so all of our events will be at the university.
We also will have a new host hotel for 2024 so everything will be conveniently located in the university area.
Your full festival ticket includes the Friday night concert, your choice of workshops, the jam, open mics, and a delicious catered lunch on Saturday. Come join us in southern New Mexico for an unforgettable weekend of ukulele fun!
