Co-Learning Lab: DE/GROWTH - Human Ecology, Solidarity, Community
The Co-learning Lab is a gathering self-organised and led by participants of Enough! Scotland and Centre for Human Ecology's 'DE/GROWTH - Human Ecology, Solidarity, Community' course.
It is an experiment in radical education: an informal yet structured space for mutual learning and action inquiry.
Contributors will present, discuss, and perform the edge of their learning and knowledge, a living and emergent work in progress in an open, appreciative and creatively nurturing environment, whilst also broadening their own knowledge and networks. Attendees are invited to engage, discuss, participate and take part.
Whilst the event is not open to the general public (to allow the participants time and space for more open and experimental approaches), we welcome our extended community of folk interested in CHE and Enough, members of our networks, and interested colleagues, as well as course participants from previous years, to co-create a space of co-operative learning in action: an entangled exploration of what we've uncovered together. Come along and join us for a convivial day of collective reflection, collaborative learning and creative knowledge exchange.
This years cohort have curated an engaging programme for the day - involving a broad range of talks, group discussions, workshops, creative responses and performances - all following on from action inquiry work undertaken over the duration of the course.
Please note there will be no catering. We invite all attendees to bring their own lunches or get a bite to eat in one of the local eateries in Govan (we recommend Cafe 13). You are also welcome to share the participant's self-organised potluck lunch (at your own risk regarding allergens). Light refreshments (tea/coffee) will be provided. Lunch options are also available locally.
The day will be held at CHE's and Enough's home at the Pearce Institute in Govan- known for the ancient cultural and natural heritage of the Clyde waterscape, as well as formerly Scotland's industrial shipbuilding heartland.
See you there?
