Flux screening & workshop for Home Educators
FLUX screening & workshop for Home Educators
Figuring it out and fitting in; what makes you, you?
Join Mortal Fools for a Home School drama workshop and screening of Mortal Fools Ensemble Young Companys film Flux.
Attendees of this session will watch Flux, a positive and empowering film, grounded in the reality of life for young people exploring their identity and making decisions about their future. Devised and performed by the young people living through this reality right now, folks will join them in discovering that there is freedom in the flux - and that labels are for bottles, not people.
After watching the film attendees will work with Mortal Fools Theatre practitioners to explore the films themes, characters and devise their own creative response content.
Flux gives the audience a window into some of the pressures young people are facing today. It was an uplifting and empowering performance that left us feeling positive. The key point is you don't have to have it all figured out. Just be yourself!- Flux audience member
Workshop is for young people aged 11-16years old.
Session is £5 per young person to attend.
