Come Sundown
Theatre for a Small Space presents Come Sundown, a stage play about the dawn of a new era, an era where the spirits of the Planet leave the earth, forced out by man's domination of the environment, and the damage that has and is being done. Noelle Wilder, a young environmental activist discovers her biological father, a man she never knew, has left her everything he owned, including a cabin in the Souther Rocky Mountains. Noelle wants nothing to do with the inheritance at first, but when the corrupt and decadent world of Washington, DC throws her a curve, she decides to visit her unknown father's cabin and discovers a part of herself she never knew was there.
Lyrical, poetical, lovely, and timely, Come Sundown deals with the themes of Climate Change, the Me-Too Movement, and the lonliness and isolation of so many people in this post-modern world. An fantastic cast of professionals bring the language and the action to sparkling life and Come Sundown promises to be an unforgetable night of live theatre.
Come Sundown will be presented at the historcial Santa Monica Playhouse in beautiful downtown Santa Monica, a few short blocks to the Promenade and Ocean park. Come enjoy an evening of live theatre!
