Gregg Araki US 1992 1h 25m Series - Do Not Go Gentle: Three Queer AIDS Films
About (Gregg Araki, US, 1992/2008, 85 min, in English)
A postmodern story of amour fou propelled by a hardcore-industrial soundtrack, the seminal 90s queer film The Living End centers on a dire relationship between a pair of young outcasts. The films first image, Fuck The World spraypainted on a graffiti-covered wall, pretty well sums up the state of mind of its two protagonists Luke, a rootless hustler, and Jon, a freelance writer who learns that hes HIV positive.
When Jon and Luke are thrown together by circumstance, they embark on a tempestuous love affair that takes them on the lam away from a strange, hostile Los Angeles of lesbian serial killers, bizarre street people and vicious homophobes into a desolate, quasi-surrealistic American Wasteland.

Accessibility
Ticketing, concessions, cinemas, restrooms, and our public edit lab are located on Northwest Film Forum's ground floor, which is wheelchair accessible. We have a limited number of assistive listening devices available for programs hosted in our larger theater, Cinema 1. These devices are maintained by the Technical Director, and can be requested at the ticketing and concessions counter.
The Forum does NOT have assistive devices for the visually impaired, and is not (yet) a scent-free venue. Our commitment to increasing access for our audiences is ongoing, and we welcome all public input on the subject!
If you have additional specific questions about accessibility at our venue, please contact our Patron Services Manager at maria@nwfilmforum.org
