Staged Readings of Contemporary Canadian Plays - Small Talk
Concordia University Department of Theatre Presents: Staged Readings of Contemporary Canadian Plays Directed by Emma Tibaldo
Get to know Contemporary Canadian plays through a series of Staged Readings. We will make a small dent by looking at four plays by four playwrights.
The third show is Small Talk by Carole Fréchette translated by John Murrel.
Content advisory: During this play we will see characters struggle with suicidal ideation, and describe a suicide that occurred before the events of the play. Additionally, an implied suicide will occur onstage. This play also contains a description of gun violence, as well as sexually explicit language.
The play is two hours in length, with no intermission.
Due to COVID resurgence in the general population, we strongly recommend that the audience wear mask. Masks will be available.
Show Times: Tuesday November 7th @ 7:30pm Thursday November 9th @ 7:30pm
