Forty Acres Presents the Honeycutters
On Saturday May 10th, Forty Acres presents the Honeycutters at Five Oaks Clubhouse, between Durahm and Chapel Hill. Tickets are $15 in advance, plus NC sales tax and handling.
The Honeycutters will be fresh from MerleFest, where they have won awards as talented emerging artists.
They are an original country roots band from Asheville. Since the group was formed in 2007, they have been playing mountain music that is as consistently catchy as it is heartfelt. In 2011, 2012, and 2013 they were voted WNC's favorite Americana band in the Mountain Express readers' poll. Organically grown around the songs of lead singer Amanda Anne Platt, the band has gained an audience that has stretched far beyond their mountain home to include all corners of the United States.

Doors open at 7:30 PM and the show will start very close to 8 PM. You may wish to bring a cooler with your favorite beverage. Hope to see you there!
