Caftan's "Time's Illusion" single release show

Caftan
Caftan began as a collaboration between Dallas musicians Cory Kosel (guitar, vocals), Jake Nice (banjo, guitar, vocals, synth), Jonathan Bustos (bass), and Braden Socia (drums). The band went on hiatus after their inaugural show at Texas Theatre in 2016 until Nice and Kosel began writing again during a theatre production several years later. In 2020 the group traveled to a barn in Central Texas where Bustos engineered their debut EP Where You Lead You, a tapestry of post-rock and psych-folk sounds. With the recent addition of percussionist Cameron Pedigo the band is excited to release Times Illusion the first single from their forthcoming full length album Palimpsest which was recorded by Marshall Pruitt at the famed Niles City Sound. Rose Hips
Rose Hips are a blinding light. Piercing bursts of noise, thunderous rhythms, and excited shrieks. Crawford Connaway and Dakota Thomas Wilson formed Dallas based rock band Rose Hips in 2020, after being friends for many years. The two came together to create music they wanted to hear and sounds nobody has ever heard before. On February 25, 2022, Rose Hips released their debut album A Whiff of God, featuring country shoegaze single Dallas Star and Kentucky Teenage Vampire, a deeply personal and bone chilling story of Wilsons spiritual journey. Comfort Creatures
A mixup at the music factory led to an unsanctioned combination of Surf Rock and Jazz with the occasional face melting riff. Comfort Creatures sprung to life with only one goal: get weird.

Sharing the stage with bands and fellow DJs, he aims to fuse a mix of downtempo beats, rare world groove, funk, soul, indie, and psych rock.
