Roadmap to Health, Safety, and Compliance Course
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course teaches learners how to build an effective Occupational Health and Safety Program tailored to their organization.
It covers all the basic building blocks of an effective program, from the initial policies and leadership commitment through hazard assessment and control to program administration.
WHY TAKE THIS COURSE?
Completion of this course is essential for any company or organization that intends to build their own Occupational Health and Safety Management System to be compliant with the OHS legislation, which is required of ALL businesses within Alberta because it is the LAW and is mandatory or if you wish to obtain a Certificate of Recognition (COR) through the AASP.
WHO PUTS THIS ON?
The course content was developed by the Alberta Association for Safety Partnerships (AASP), an approved Alberta Certifying Partner, and is approved by and aligned with the standards set by the Alberta Government through the Alberta Jobs, Economy and Trade Partnerships Program.
SESSION DETAILS
This course has five (5) guided sessions on consecutive Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

2. November 15
3. November 22
4. November 29
5. December 6
These sessions run as a Live Instructor Webinar. Participants must commit to attending all five (5) sessions to qualify. Recordings will not be available.

This course has a limited space of 25 Participants.
Each paid registration includes two spots (you and a guest). Please ensure you answer the registration questions and have your guest email address (sharing Zoom links will not work).

TECH REQUIREMENTS OF PARTICIPANTS
To participate fully online, you will need a computer or tablet with a functioning webcam that will connect to Zoom. A working microphone and speakers are required.
