Blair Jollands, Arrows Down & Cajita
And the glorious music keeps on coming...

Opening the night we have the wonderful talents of Cajita.

Hailing from South London, he makes music with acoustic instruments, voices, loop pedals, synths, computers, and whatever else he can get my hands on. Then he travels around the world and plays that music at people.

He's toured quite a bit throughout the UK, Europe and the US, and has supported bands like Maps, Merz, Tina Dico, and Casiotone For The Painfully Alone. And he's also played on the same bills as Björk, Thom Yorke, Martina Topley-Bird, and Massive Attack.

He's been featured regularly on BBC6 Music, and BBC Radio Bristol, and somewhat strangely been played on Radio 1 a couple of times too!

Here are some nice things that people have said about Cajita:

"Gorgeous!"
Lauren Laverne, BBC 6Music

"completely gorgeous. . .a long-time favourite."
Tom Robinson, BBC 6Music

"freaking great. . .just gorgeous."
Sean Beavan (NIN, Marilyn Manson, 8MM)

"a chorus of pillow-soft male voices. . .every element the right shape and size, hanging together as perfectly as the molecules of a water droplet."
Venue Magazine

"a fine, fine blend of esoteric electronica, traditional instrumentation and uplifting, flowing harmonic refinement. . .delightfully good."
The Organ Magazine

Next up is Arrows Down.
We're continually blown away by Arrows Down live performances, and we're certain you will be too! His guitar, keyboard and vocal skills are simply sublime, and whether performing solo, as a duo or more, you really MUST hear him live!

And last but by no means least we are honoured to welcome back the rather wonderful Blair Jollands and his band. The New Zealand born singer songwriter has already had critical acclaim for his first two albums 'Violent Love' and 'Hotel' , and we are delighted to bring his Scott Walker via Elvis, Alabama 3, ,Bowie & Jon Spencer fusion of Nu-Glam-Country-Folk back to The Hope & Anchor!

So with this much talent on show, you really don't want to miss out!!
