St Catherine's Presents.... the Coffee Experience
Lots of coffee and cake included!
St Catherine's is delighted to offer parents and local association members this rare opportunity to come and hear from Simon Wakefield, of coffee importer DR Wakefield, about how coffee is grown, harvested, packaged and bought to the UK from all over the world.
Become a coffee connoisseur in one morning with a mini-lecture, see some stunning images and after trying some different types of coffee you will taste for yourself how the varied growing conditions produce a diverse range of flavours.
We'll also be serving a Peruvian coffee from the all-female co-operative 'Café Femenino' with cake from the St Catherine's kitchen.
Tickets for this event are £10 and funds raised will go to Sailability at Frensham Ponds, helping disabled people to sail and the St Catherine's Round the Island Sailing Team, helping to fund their race round the Isle of Wight in June 2014.
We will be in the Conference Room at St Catherine's School, Station Road, Bramley and the event is open to all parents, alumnae, staff and friends of the School. If it proves popular we will move to a larger venue.
You can arrive any time after 8:30am, the presentation starts at 9am and you will be away before 11am.
If you have any questions, please contact Jo Dowling on 01483 899754.
