About (J.C. Cricket, US, 1975, 60 min, in English)
** X-rated gay Exorcist remake: No one under 18 will be admitted! **
All hell breaks loose when Johns last-minute anniversary gift inadvertently causes his younger lover Jim to become possessed by a sex demon who wreaks havoc on New Yorks gay cruising spots. Openly inspired by both The Exorcist and its Blaxploitation cousin, Abby, J. C. Crickets Sex Demon is a ferocious mix of the erotic and the grotesque thats primed and ready to shock audiences again after being lost for the past forty years. In the words of Gay Scene critic Bruce King, the squeamish may not want to watch, but if you do, you wont forget it!
Last screened theatrically in 1981 and never released on home video, Sex Demon is a crucialyet long-lostpiece of queer horror history thats been preserved in 2K from a recently discovered 16mm release print.

Accessibility
Ticketing, concessions, cinemas, restrooms, and our public edit lab are located on Northwest Film Forum's ground floor, which is wheelchair accessible. We have a limited number of assistive listening devices available for programs hosted in our larger theater, Cinema 1. These devices are maintained by the Technical Director, and can be requested at the ticketing and concessions counter.
The Forum does NOT have assistive devices for the visually impaired, and is not (yet) a scent-free venue. Our commitment to increasing access for our audiences is ongoing, and we welcome all public input on the subject!
If you have additional specific questions about accessibility at our venue, please contact our Patron Services Manager at maria@nwfilmforum.org
