Roller Derby Boot Camp presented by Pottstown Roller Derby Rockstars & DNA Coaching
Come out for a roller derby Boot Camp instructed by DNA Coaching and Philly's Antidote. Instruction will include advanced skills, footwork, forward and backward blocking.
A bonus black and white scrimmage will follow. Different experience levels are welcome but only those that are scrimmage eligible within their league will be allowed to participate in the scrimmage. Skaters that are unsafe and are a danger to other skaters due to lack of skill will be asked to leave the track during scrimmage. No refunds will be issued.
Please bring plenty of water and a black shirt and white shirt with your number on the back. There will be a very brief break between instruction and scrimmage.
DATE: Sunday, April 27, 2014
LOCATION: 422 SportsPlex, 1400 Industrial Hwy, Pottstown, PA 19464
TIME: 1-3pm, with bonus black and white scrimmage to follow. Doors open at 12:30pm to gear up and warm up
COST: $30 in advance, $40 at the door. Space is limited to 50 skaters.
*Skaters must have WFTDA or USARS insurance. Skaters will be asked to check in and sign all necessary event waivers prior to participation.
**Boot Camp and scrimmage are only open to women 18 years of age and older.
