The Dining Room
"The Dining Room" is a richly conceived and theatrical tour de force by A.R. Gurney in which six performers play a wide array of diverse characters, with each scene taking place in the dining room - a room now neglected that was once the center of family life. A brother and sister need to divide up their mother's furniture... an architect has ideas about how to restructure the entire house ...a family celebrates the holidays but their older mother does not seem to remember their names...
Poignant and touching, "The Dining Room" will bear a striking resemblance to our lives.
