DamNation Film Spokane Premiere sponsored by Save Our Wild Salmon & Spokane Falls Trout Unlimited
Spokane premiere of DamNation, a new film documenting the history of dam-building in the U.S. the nationwide movement to restore rivers by removing dams and highlighting aging expensive dams that still need to come out.
DamNation premiered at the 2014 SXSW music and film festival in Austin, TX winning a People's Choice award. The Spokane screening will be one of the first screening in the Northwest.
Sponsored by Save Our Wild Salmon Coalition and Spokane Falls Trout Unlimited. Proceeds will go towards efforts to restore Snake River wild salmon & steelhead.
And Q & A with spokespeople from the film and local organizations will follow the film.
