Sublime Stupidity
Master Italian clown teacher Giovanni Fusetti and Pig Iron's crack ensemble of physical performers take you on a whirlwind tour of the little-understood discipline of clowning. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding artwork and his own life's work teaching students across the globe, Fusetti will lead the audience through the spiritual and philosophical dimensions of creating comic characters. In collaboration with Pig Iron's ensemble, Mr. Fusetti will showcase a portion of the infinite variety of clowns out there in the world, and expand upon the wonderfully human ability to celebrate and laugh at our own imperfections. As he writes, Âeach one of us is stupid in a very specific and original way. Participants also include Quinn Bauriedel, Geoff Sobelle, Sarah Sanford, James Sugg, Alex Torra and Dito van Reigersberg.
