Vines on the Marycrest: An Evening with Paso Robles' Victor Abascal
Most wines from blazingly hot Paso Robles, California are big to the point of bursting. Over-ripe, over-alcoholic, overdone. The wines of Vines on the Marycrest are thrilling exceptions: balanced, delicious, and just supremely fun.
Same could be said of VotM's head honcho (winemaker, ambassador, lots of other things), Victor Abascal. He's balanced, fun and delicious, too! Victor might actually be the sweetest person on the face of the planet. Top Five, at least.
We're excited to host Victor and taste his Zinfandel and Rhône-inspired wines, alongside terrific locally sourced small plates from Rosemont Chef Brad Messier.
