Renowned musicians and songwriters Ed Willett and Cheryl Leah have created a concert experience thats at once exciting, terrifying, sweet and revealing.
Cellist, singer and composer Ed Willett is presently the Music Director at the Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua, a post hes held for the last 15 years with the exception of two years on the road with pop/rock icon, Rickie Lee Jones.
Cheryl Leah was a long time lead singer for the Big Top Chautauqua before turning her attention to writing and performing in a nationally touring performance featuring the writings of John Muir and the music of her ensemble with Ed called Chance.
Joining Ed and Cheryl will be: Randy Sabien who is is a violinist, guitarist and composer, and is known for his blazing performances in the region and his numerous recordings, many of them on Flying Fish records andRed House Records.
Yazmin Bowers, a pianist, accordionist and vocalist, who has toured nationally, recorded three albums and opened for artists such as Nanci Griffith and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band as well as being a guest on Michael Feldmans WhadYa Know? radio program.
Stevie Matier, an Irish drum player from Belfast who has performed all over the world with his group Different Drums of Ireland. In this show, in addition to playing the Bodhran, he serves as the show's Bard and as that character, tells original ghost stories and legends with his authentic Belfast delivery, solidifying the connection between Halloween and its Celtic Isle roots.
