GEM's 4th Annual Casino Night Fundraiser-Always Bet on GEM

This years GEMs Casino Night Fundraiser will take place on October 7th, 2023, and will be held at the Westfield Southcenter Mall 2800 Southcenter Mall, Seattle, WA 98188.

The mission of GEM is to inform, interact, and inspire youth and young adults. Through holistic mentoring every youth and young adult is empowered to be principled, responsible, critical thinkers who affect positive change in their community.

Since our inception nine years ago in the summer of 2014 Glover Empower Mentoring has engaged over 600+ youth and 100+ young adults in formal mentoring relationships, for a total of over 6,500 hours of mentoring time. For nearly five years, we have successfully grown our youth engagement and volunteer commitment taking on an average of one new mentee per month and one new mentor per quarter.

To address the need in our community, GEM continues to keep itself in tune with the needs of our young people. With the loss of spaces for young people to feel authentically themselves GEM is looking to meet this need with a new multipurpose athletic training center.

As you know these supports come with a cost. GEM's goal is to raise $50,000 to meet this need for our community in Kent. To provide a space for our young people to maintain mental health through athletics and community gatherings is the vision for this year as we continue to Inform, Interact, and Inspire our future leaders.
