FURY Factory - Dandelion Dance Theater -

"We Love You to the End of the World" collides highly specific, piercing dance and theater to explore the hidden ways we process images from the media, and how those imagesÂespecially advertisements and violent images of warÂ affect us physically and in our private lives and relationships. This fairytale-like piece is told from the point of view of a child watching television, and unfolds through the surreal landscape of the American media machine.

"Mutt 49 Crosses the Line" shares a work centered on a fictional band, chronicling it's existance through music, movement and physical theater the bizarre antics this motley crew of undead artists must go through to remain outside of fixed identities and categories. We will move in between fantasy and reality, following the band as they perform their songs and stage act for the first time outside the spirit world and so run into obstacle after obstacle relating to each other. Part satire, part existential inquiry, part heart-ful, non-linear performance, Mutt 49 Crosses the Line will leave everyone wanting more of this emerging indie band.
