We created The Freehold Forum LIVE! in order to provide our students and our larger theater community with an opportunity to gain from the experience and wisdom from our faculty members and from other theater professionals. Our forums will feature panelists from our theater community answering questions about the ins and outs of the theater business as well as producing and working as an actor.
We are excited for our upcoming Freehold Forum Live! lined up for Thursday, April 10 with the focus on Teaching Artists. Teaching Artists, also called artist/educators, or community artists are professional artists who teach and integrate their art form, perspectives, and skills into a wide range of settings. Teaching Artists work with schools, after school programs, community agencies, prisons, jails, and social service agencies.
Have you wondered what exactly is a Teaching Artist? Have you ever wondered how to get started as a Teaching Artist and what opportunities might be available? Have questions of your own?
Join us for our Teaching Artist forum and get your questions answered!
