Native Polinators and the Plants That They Love.
Join locally-based bug and insect enthusiast Hartmust Wisch for a glimpse in to some of the most dedicated relationships nature has to offer, between our native pollinators and the plants to which they are irresistibly drawn. In this workshop, attendees will learn to spot and identify the pollinators we desire in our gardens and how to match them with their soul mates of the botanical world.
Harmut Wisch worked for 35 years as a naturalist-guide across North America and is a contributing editor at bugguide.net.
This workshop will follow a classroom format for the first part then participants will enjoy an identification walk through the Ranch Garden site. Closed toed shoes, hats, and water are recommended for the Ranch portion.
Workshop Limited to 15 participants
